Positive Displacement Blowers

Air Knife Systems
An Air-knife System is typically installed on a conveyor line for one of the following purposes:
- Drying - Removal of water after products pass through washing stations
- Cleaning – Removal of dust, shavings, etc. after products are molded or cut
- Cooling – Products formed under heat that cannot be cooled by water
Typically for the above applications, plant compressed air delivers unnecessarily high pressure (100 psi) and inadequate volume (under 200 cfm). Due to its higher efficiency and application suitability, a properly designed blower air-knife system has the potential to drastically reduce plant electrical costs by using only 10-20% of the energy that compressed air consumes for the same process, and in most cases with better blow-off results.
